Did you know that there is a range of superb hotels aimed specifically at chocolate lovers? This is also news to us and something we deem incredibly important, we haven’t had the chance to sample any yet (it’s on our to-do list) however we thought we would bring you a round up of 4 of the best hotels for chocolate lovers and the delicious experiences they have to offer.
Boucan by Hotel Chocolat (St. Lucia)
The founders of the British chocolate line Hotel Chocolat bought St. Lucia’s oldest cocoa estate, a 140-acre working plantation surrounded by rainforest and transformed it into a hotel. Complete with an onsite Cocoa Juvenate Spa, the antioxidant power of the cacao bean has been harnessed to offer guests treatments like facials, exfoliating scrubs, and mani-pedis.
Jade Mountain (St. Lucia)
Jade Mountain gives chocolate lovers an inside look at how this delicious treat is made using cocoa beans grown at the resort. Guests can sample all kinds of sweets, from the on-site Chocolate Laboratory or if you’re looking for something more hands-on guests can make their own fudge and chocolate bars.
Chocolate Boutique Hotel (Bournemouth, UK)
This wonderful Chocolate Boutique Hotel (on home turf) opened its doors in 2007. Guests can enjoy cocoa themed rooms along with a range of Chocolate-tasting and making you can even get themed packages that bring a private chocolate fountain to your room.
Roses & Xocolate (Mérida, Mexico)
Housed in two colonial mansions that were painted with a bright-pink façade, this stunning hotel partnered with Mathieu Brees, a Belgian chocolatier to provide delicious treats to all of its hotel guests. The hotel spa also uses cocoa into several of its treatments, including a firming facial and an exfoliating manicure.
